How to get Inspired
Whenever reading a post at enteranywhere.com, be ready to take notes. It will greatly improve yourself.
What is your biggest inspiration in life?
Pause for a minute and read the headline once more and write down the answer.
A word of inspiration may change a life and it is up to every one of us to inspire others whenever possible. This is the important begining of success. We all would love to have a coach or someone next to us, so when ever life gets shaken or you would like to acheive more it was easy to get backed up. The trick is to believe in yourself, and this may be the one thing that actually needs support.
First of all, what is inspiration:
“Someone or something that gives you an ideas of doing something”
“An inspiration is also a sudden good idea”
So I guess the first thing to do is to be happy about going to bed at night, imagine all those that do not have the option. Some didn’t make it through the day and others are not even in the position to have a roof over their head.
Second, even if you do not have a bed:
Be happy to wake up!! Remember that past has nothing to do with future unless you let it. So look at everything around you, if you like it then enjoy the feeling of having it. If you DON’T like it, enjoy the feeling of being able to change it. If you have success then help someone else to acheive it, if you don’t then start plotting a chart with the dreams of you life. Write it on a old newspaper with dirt if you have to!!
Write down what/who you will be thankfull for when you go to bed tonight, and then write down what you will tell yourself in the morning. Why, who/what are you thankfull for when waking up?
One of the worlds most inspirational people on earth, Richard Branson do encourage everyone to have pen and paper (some do use the phone) and write down ideas of any kind at any time. The change you want may just be one idea away.
If our day, sosial relationships, finances or anything else goes haywire, where would be the best place to find a ladder to climb back up?.
That is really the question, and it truly depends on what the problem is. My problems on this day has a wide range. Relationship, unemployed, finances, car that needs a fix and a few others that really are not that unusual.
HOW DO I FIX THEM?
Well, it all really stems what I would like. I did get a lot of input lately from new friends and books that have started a change in me, and this change do not fly well with everyone surrounding me. Most of my social network can not even get a grip on it, some get scared and some plain and simple panics. It is probably easier to be in my shoes since I am standing on the “balcony” and viewing my future while they are inside watching a tv-show. Big difference.
Tony Robbins frequently refers to taking “massive action”, others refer to burning bridges and forgive the past.
I do belive life can be sort of like the situation on a crab boat. One thing I did recognize while watching “Deadliest Catch” was what happens with the capture crabs onboard if one dies. It turns into poison that may kill all the other crabs in that storage compartment.
The way we live is also sort of like that. Keep carrying a bad memory, a bad girlfriend, a bad job or even a sweater you hate and it will affect a lot (if not all) of your life. Burning the bridge, telling the bad memory good bye and letting it go will save the rest. Unlike the crabs, the mind and life can be re-built in different ways. The past is nothing more than the previous step on your ladder.
Watching one of Tony Robbins youtube videos, he explains the importance of writing a letter to someone you remember did something painfull to you, or was wrongfully treated by you. Explain the feeling of today and say that you are sorry. It will help you leaving it in the past instead of funding tomorrow on it. With any luck it turns into a great companionship and a future success for both parties!!
BUT DO NOT CHOOSE TO DRAG THE PAINS WITH YOU, THE CHAIN HOLDING IT DO HAVE 2 ENDS TO IT. MOST LIKELY WHAT WAS ON THE OTHER END DID LET GO ALREADY, ALL YOU ARE PULLING IS A HEAVY CHAIN WITH NOTHING IN THE OTHER END.
Write down your chains that could be holding you back, think about how you actually benefited from them.
When one of my kids get hurt like normal, active, playfull creatures to I frequently talk to them about the positive side of it. My 3-year old got stung by a bie, and the situation was turned to the great discovery that she is not allergic to stings (like her dad is). When the crying was over and she had settled down a bit, we talked about that we would never have figured that out without trying the sting. She was very proud about being less allergic than her dad:-) You can not change what has happened, but the memory and reaction to it is done by choice.
Back to inspiration, after all that is where we started on this page. If you go back and check the definition it will come clear that you will get it from somewhere else. New energy needs to come into your life in order to spark the imagination and inspiration.
First thing is to open up. Go out and order a totally different dinner than usual, walk backwards 50 steps (not in traffic), call someone else than the ususal friend. If you have to call the same person as before, talk about something else, use your past in the conversation to explain how it improves you today.
One of my friends are expert in the field of dragging the chain even though I try to change him. If I knocked my head he most certainly knocked it worse at some point, if I put a dent in my car he flipped a car upside down at some point. There is just no end to it.
He could with the same catch of breath suggested someone to fix my problem or just acknowledge it and change the subject. Then he would become an expert of helping others, instead he becomes an expert in ripping up in his old failures.
DO YOU SEE THE DIFFERENCE?
So the choice of thought may well be the only thing needed. Inspiration is in every breath you take, every sound, text, smell, touch you make. All senses will make inspiration if you let it. Hear, See, Smell, Taste, Touch, Imagination etc. has to be met with the correct attitude.
Wayne Dyer had a short inspirational quote:
“Change the way you look upon things, and the things you look upon changes.”
Now, imagine being at the best place on earth (your choice, some prefer a beach, some the woods and other a train trip etc.). Enjoy the feeling of being there and close your eyes and look around on the best place on earth.
A seed of inspiration have been planted. Keep it growing.
What part of your past are you willing to let go in order to make room for thoughts that gets you closer to who you would like to be? Write them down.
Now put the notes where you can read them tonight before sleeping and prepare yourself to wake up to the start of your new life.
